I finally found the energy to do this entry.I was just so tired from all the EL and literature seminars that i had to sit through....

Monday
In the morning,i had a seminar on Island Voices By Robert Yeo.It was like FOC.Seriously.(I'm not gonna write what's FOC here to avoid defamation cases.However,feel free to tell me what you think FOC is in my Cbox.)

The second seminar was on Off Centre.This time around,it was more like a question and answer session and Haresh Sharma came down personally to talk about his book.(Unlike someone who didn't write any of the stories in Island Voices and yet still gave a talk on the book. =.=)Unlike the first talk where both Pure Lit and E. Lit students had to attend,this talk was for Pure Lit students only.However,most Pure Lit students didn't even wanna come.I can't blame them.I did consider skipping the second seminar after what i saw in the first one but i went anyways.In the end,only the first half of the Off Centre seminar was good cuz after awhile,everyone began to ask stupid and ridiculous questions.Here's an example:

"How does the controversy contribute to the irony of the story?"

I swear no one understood the question and even the speaker was stunned for awhile.Does that person even know what she was asking?I think not.

To top it off,those who asked stupid questions were the ones who could speak English really well.Looks like empty vessels make the most sound...

During the two and a half hour break,i went to Zone X at AMK Hub and guess what?I lost my Initial D card there.OMFG.Later that day,i went to the newly renovated Zone X at Lot 1 and it sucked.Many games were taken away and the whole place was just a shadow of what it used to be.....From that moment on,my arcade days were officially over...

Tuesday
It suddenly started raining like F**K when i reached the bus stop outside school but guess what?The back gate was locked.So,i had to walk all the way around the school to enter from the main gate.Though i was sheltered from the rain alot cuz i walked below the HDB blocks,the short distance where i would have absolutely no cover from the rain caused me to be totally drenched....As i walked to my class,i swear everyone who saw me was giggling.There was no part of me that wasn't drenched.F-ing weather....

In the afternoon,there were 2 El seminars.The 1st one was all crap and so was the second one.To make it worse,Yuan Sheng and Zhen Yang who were sitting just beside me were playing with someone's PSP and they were making a hell of a ruckus.At some point during the talk,a student from another school who was sitting in front of us had to tell them to lower their volume.Zzz...Westwood's name just dropped off a cliff.They did tone down but only for awhile before starting all that noise again and then the speaker noticed them and had to tell them to pay attention.OMG.All eyes in my direction again.....

At night,i had dinner at the newly-opened New York New York at Lot 1 and i'm glad to say that their food's actually not bad.It sort of carries a Cafe Cartel style of food but their menu isn't as large as CC's.

Wednesday(Today)
There was a Lit seminar on Unseen Prose but i was sick of all that BS that they were feeding us at the seminars so i decided to skip it altogether. =) Instead,i came home and finished up reading "New Moon".Very nice book.If you like fantasy/romance novels,you should definitely read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.

That's all for today(for all three days,rather) and i've gotta go cuz this blog entry is getting rediculously long already....Okay then,Cya~
